In preparation for the municipal elections in June, the women\u2019s organisations have elected their candidates and co-chairs and formed the \u201eAlliance of Peoples and Women for Freedom\u201c. Young women have organised a conference to discuss the democratic nation and women\u2019s confederalism, and decided to form a confederation. The second congress of the Syrian Women\u2019s Council was held in Aleppo. Kongra Star opened new women\u2019s co-operatives in Til Temir, and wrote a call to solidarity around the unjust verdict of the Kobane trial.
