Kongra Star released a statement in response to the US decision to put a bounty on Cemil Bay\u0131k, Murat Karay\u0131lan and Duran Kalkan.<\/p>\n
The women\u2019s movement said it was known by everyone that the Turkish state has first established DAESH and then supported it, as it is likewise also behind terrorist groups such al-Qaeda. Kongra Star said the Kurdish people are under continuous attack and massacre by the Turkish state that supports and feeds these terrorist groups.<\/p>\n
Calling on Kurdish people to take action against the massacres and attacks carried out by Turkey, Kongra Star said: \u201cThe attacks carried out by the invading Turkish state against the Kurdish people demanding peace and democracy are known\u201d, the statement said, adding: \u201cThis reality was once again proved by the occupation attacks in Afrin\u201d.<\/p>\n
Referring to the statement made by U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State, Matthew Palmer on the bounty on the PKK leaders, Kongra Star said: \u201cThese three revolutionary leaders of the freedom movement have been fighting for humanity’s freedom for 40 years\u201d.<\/p>\n
Kongra Star added: \u201cThese three leaders have a major role in the struggle for freedom. The Kurdish liberation movement, which has been fighting under the leadership of the PKK, and the Kurdish people will never leave these revolutionaries alone. Cemil Bay\u0131k, Murat Karay\u0131lan and Duran Kalkan are the vanguard of the Kurdish people\u201d.<\/p>\n
The Kurdish liberation movement played a historical role in the liberation of Shengal and Koban\u00ea, reminded the statement. \u201cThey protected thousands of people, including women, from DAESH terror. Thousands of women are taking part in the struggle for the freedom of Kurdistan and are leading the women\u2019s liberation struggle\u201d.<\/p>\n
Kongra Star said: \u201cThe US must abandon its anti-Kurdish policy and immediately fulfill its responsibility in the search for a solution. As Kongra Star, we call upon Kurdish women to turn their struggle in a permanent one. The decision taken by the US increases the anger of the Kurdish people.
