The third conference of Kongra Star’s Democratic Political Alliances and Relations Committee was held on 5 November 2024 under the motto “With the universalization of the philosophy of Jin Jiyan Azadi, we will win the Third World War.”. It was held in the city of Hasekê.
The conference began with the memory of the martyrs of freedom who were beacons of our revolution, and we dedicated the conference to the souls of the two martyrs, Rihan Amûdê and Yusra Dervish, who illuminate our path of struggle.
In the discussions of the friends present, attention was drawn to the current situation in the region and the world, where crises are increasing and solutions are becoming more complicated under the pressure of authoritarian regimes and their efforts to divide women’s struggles. These regimes try to suppress women’s resistance and deprive it of its character, with the aim of not prioritizing the question of women’s freedom as a central issue that affects all areas of society. It was emphasized that addressing this problem on a fundamental and ideological basis is the solution to crises, as women’s freedom is the path to stability and peace in society.
We believe that the 21st century is the century of women’s freedom and that the women’s revolution has the power to bring about change and create stability and peace in the Middle East and the world. As women were the most affected by the Third World War and its consequences, we have a responsibility at the diplomatic level to build a strong and united women’s front and strengthen women’s cooperation to solve common problems. Since the philosophy of “Women, Life, Freedom” is the only shield that can resist attacks on women, spreading the values of the Women’s Revolution on a global scale is the guarantee for the continuation of our struggle and the protection of our common achievements and successes.
The success and protection of our revolution depend on the universalization of the philosophy of “women, life, freedom”. As we pass the first quarter of the twenty-first century, we must seize this historic opportunity and make the renaissance of the women’s revolution and its establishment the foundation of the second quarter of this century. To ensure that the philosophy “Women, Life, Freedom” is not just a repetitive statement, we need to translate it into a consistent approach and lifestyle that reflects our daily thoughts and reality. The spread of this spirit and this consciousness among all the women’s and struggle movements of the world will make it a true force for free life and the dignity of humanity, transforming it into an indestructible energy that contains the essence of women and life.
At the conference, we welcomed the meeting with leader Abdullah Öcalan and were inspired by his perspective to strengthen our struggle of women and society by focusing on not getting involved in the plans of the Turkish state and continuing the struggle for the physical freedom of leader Öcalan.
On this basis, a plan was drawn up for future work:
The aims and basic principles of the Kongra Star’s Democratic Political Alliances and Relations
-
The freedom of the leader Abdullah Öcalan should be seen as the main goal of women’s diplomacy, the work and struggle for his freedom should be reorganized and systematized. All movements are carried out for the physical freedom of the leader.
-
In order for Abdullah Öcalan’s democratic, ecologically just and women’s freedom-based paradigm to be spread and implemented in the world and continued with a certain system and continuity, the reorganization of ideological activities in the field of women’s diplomacy should be strengthened.
-
In order to solve the Kurdish question in general, the work on this should be continued and intensified. Achieving the status of democratic autonomy for north-eastern Syria should be seen as one of the main tasks of women’s diplomacy.
-
Building a strategic alliance with organized and non-organized Arab women is an important task. First and foremost, social, political and cultural alliances and joint organizations should be established with Arab women in North and East Syria, throughout Syria and the Middle East to protect and maintain the achievements of the revolution as a strategic work of women’s diplomacy.
-
In the field of diplomacy, constant efforts should be made against any kind of occupation and for the liberation of the occupied territories.
-
Democratic nation diplomacy is social diplomacy in its essence. All anti-systemic forces, especially feminist, ecological, socialist, anarchist, cultural and social movements should be seen as strategic alliances.
-
Women are the essence and vanguard of the Democratic Nation’s diplomacy. With women’s leadership and equal representation, women’s opinions and colors have been systematically made the main task of the Democratic Nation’s diplomacy. On this basis, the number, visibility and representation of women in general diplomacy should be increased and strengthened.
-
The main area where the achievements of the Kurdish women’s revolution will be spread, where the women’s revolution will radically establish itself and take the lead in social change is the Middle East. On this basis, women’s diplomacy should focus on efforts to spread the line of women’s freedom and the achievements of the women’s revolution within the women’s movements in the Middle East.
-
In the globalization of the women’s revolution, arguments and diplomatic tools should be enriched. Special information and digital media activities in the development of diplomacy should be considered as strategic tools and strongly organized.
-
According to the strategy of women’s diplomacy, these three points are strategic: in order to solve the Kurdish problem and democratize the Kurdish people, it aims at the national unity of Kurdish women, at the level of the Middle East and the world on the basis of the women’s revolution, it aims at the development of women’s democratic confederalism, and with this opportunity it embarks on the search for the development of democratic alliances.
Related to Leader Abdullah Ocalan;
-
Regarding the campaigns developing for the physical freedom of the leader, Kongra Star considers itself responsible and makes the freedom of Abdullah Ocalan the means of all the work of the union and democratic relations.
-
With the aim of informing about the strategic projects that Abdullah Öcalan has developed for women’s freedom (detachment theory, project to change men, free coexistence, co-leadership system, jineolojie), we draw attention to the agenda of women’s movements.
