Newsletter: Women`s Revolution May 2026

In this newsletter we discuss the current state of the integration process and the defence of the achievements of the women’s movement in North and East Syria. In this context, we report on an important meeting of the women’s movement attended by 2,000 Kurdish and Arab women. We also provide an overview of the activities carried out so far in the course of the campaign “We are all YPJ! Self-defence is our natural right!”. Furthermore, we provide insights into developments regarding the return of displaced people to Afrin and Serekaniyê, and into the struggles surrounding the recognition of the Kurdish language.
