This has been a truly momentous month. Some events concern the entire Kurdistan Region and the Middle East, but since they are of fundamental importance, we are also reporting them here. We will cover the statements of People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan and the ceremony in which PKK guerrillas burned their weapons. This month also marked the anniversary of the Rojava revolution, celebrated with great joy and emotion. On the other hand, sectarian violence has erupted against the Druze people of southern Syria: the solution to this terror lies in a democratic and decentralized system for all of Syria, similar to the one implemented in North and East Syria (NES). In solidarity with them, we launched a campaign which includes a hashtag campaign for Friday, October 1st, at 7.00 pm CET.
