Statement of the Results and Conclusion of the Global Solidarity Campaign with the Neighborhoods of Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh

With a steadfast revolutionary will and deep faith in the values of cross-border human justice, we in Kongra Star announce the conclusion of the global signature campaign launched to support our people in the Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh neighborhoods of Aleppo. This campaign came as an emergency response to confront the systematic military offensive and the suffocating siege imposed by radical factions, which aims to break the will of coexistence and target the vanguard of society, represented by women.

We declare today, with full confidence, that this initiative has culminated in a vast solidarity mobilization resulting in the collection of 1090 signatures from Syria, the Middle East, Africa, and at the global level, with the active participation of leading women’s organizations, political and civil activists, and global democratic movements. This international momentum served as a global referendum rejecting policies of forced displacement and demographic change, and condemning the use of starvation and the targeting of medical facilities as tools of war to intimidate civilians under the “blackout of media silence.”

We firmly note that these attacks have not stopped at the borders of Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh, but rather extend to encompass all regions of North and East Syria in a desperate attempt to strike any real democratic project. Therefore, our women’s and popular struggle and resistance continue and will not break in the face of this aggressive expansion. We appeal to your consciences that your support and solidarity must not stop at a mere signature; in light of the continuation of these violations that target the gains of women and the values of the brotherhood of peoples, the need remains urgent for your active and continuous solidarity.

In concluding this campaign, we assure the public and everyone who lent their voice and signature that these documented results will not end with this announcement. Rather, they will be formally and urgently directed to the international community and all its relevant institutions—including the United Nations bodies, international legal and human rights commissions, international human rights organizations, and the Security Council—to secure our just demands for lifting the siege and providing comprehensive international protection, while emphasizing the necessity of urgently sending international fact-finding committees to document violations and ensure accountability for perpetrators of war crimes. We pledge to our people that these signatures will remain a resounding legal cry haunting the forces of tyranny and darkness in all international forums, and our movement will not stop until we transform this global solidarity into a tangible reality that protects our dignity and preserves the freedom of our land and our people.

Long live the resistance of free women, long live the brotherhood of peoples.
